Statement of our Belief
We are an independent organization; we believe that the bible is with out question the inspired word of the living God. We believe in the trinity God head which is; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost as stated in Mt. 28:19, Jn.14:26, 15:26, II Cor.13:14, & I Pe.1:2.
God created heaven and earth, and all things that are in heaven, and all things that are in and upon the earth. God created man in his own image, and breathed the breath of life into him. Man was created with body, soul, and spirit. Gen. Chapters 1 & 2, Ex 20:11, Jn 1:3, He. 1:10. God created man with a will, a right of choice. Gen. ch. 2 & ch. 3.
Salvation
1.) First we must acknowledge that we are sinners. Rom. 3:23, 6:23, II Pe. 3:9
2.) God made away for all mankind to be saved. Jn. 3:1-8, 3:16,17, 6:47, 14:6,
Rev 3:20, 22:17. Rom. 5:8. I Jn. 1:7.
3.) Repentance, Acts 3:19, 16:30, 31. Rom. 10:9, 10. Eph. 2:8, 9.
First we must acknowledge that every man and woman was born in sin, and that God sent his son Jesus Christ to be born of Virgin Mary. Jesus came to us in the flesh of a man. That he lived, taught, and shed his blood upon the cross for all of mankind. He became the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
We must confess that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. That we are sinners, and that we must repent and turn from sin, and that by faith we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Salvation is not something we can buy, earn, or give. We can only receive it through Jesus Christ by repenting of our sins.
Sanctification
Sanctification: purification, purity, a purifier, holiness.
Sanctify: to make holy, purify or consecrate, to venerate, hallow, be holy.
Jn. 17:17. Rom. 8:1, 2, 15:16. I Cor.1:30. Eph. 5:26. II Ti. 2:21. He. 13:12. I Pe 1:2
This is done by the Holy Spirit through the word of God to the cross where Jesus died, and shed his blood for our sins so that we can be sanctified. No one can be sanctified until the have first accepted Jesus Christ as there Lord and Savior at the cross by repentance and be washed by the blood of Jesus.
We are then sanctified through the word of God to our heart, mind, and soul through the Holy Spirit.
Water Baptism
Mat. 3:13-15, 28:19. Rom .6:4
Water baptism is not means of salvation, water baptism alone will not save anyone or give anyone eternal life. We are to be baptized in water as a public proclamation of our submission to God, and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior.
Water baptism signifies the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. When we are baptized, it typifies our death to the old life, with all our sins and ungodliness being buried, and us being resurrected into a new life in Christ Jesus.
Jesus set the example for us by being baptized in water. He did it to fulfill all righteousness.
We baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Holy Spirit Baptism
We Believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity, and in His interaction with man. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as the manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.
A person must accept Jesus Christ as Savior before he can experience the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
We cannot merit or deserve the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is a gift.
Acts 2:38, Luke 11:13
Speaking in tongues: When one receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit there is an utterance by the Spirit, and an expression is made in an unknown tongue. Acts 2:14. The people cooperated in speaking, but the Spirit gave utterance.
I Cor. 14:4, 18, 39. Is. 28:11,12. Rom. 8:26, 27. Joel 2:28, 29, 1:5, 8. Acts 2:4, 8:14-17, Acts 10:44-46, 11:15-17, 19:2,6, Mat. 3:11, Jude 20
The Sacred Scriptures
We believe in the scriptures as the inspired Word of God, and that it is complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men.
Stewardship
We believe that every man is the steward of his life, and that everything that God have given to us is his, and we are to use it for his glory. We believe in tithing for the first fruits are his, and is in obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.
